It's also my carry gun now (appendix). 17 was too long and the handle of my 45 doesn't make it any harder to conceal than the 19. The 45 is my favorite Glock 9mm by far.The G19x and the G45 have an excellent feel and balance in the hand perfectly and that's what I like about them. It would really suck to have to live in California and have to be limited to using 10 round magazines but it would not change the good features of the gun and hopefully someday you can move out of California and use normal Hi-cap magazines in the gun.

I did not want to be restricted by the generation of magazines so the G19X is out for me - I'll be getting a G45 with Ameriglo's. If you want to make it "G45X" you can add the Glock factory +2's to a couple 17 rounders to make it 19 -. Nah, I don't care about the 19's, I have of a hundred 15, 17 and 33 round mags.The G45 ejects better because it's got a breech face cut. The 19X is better because it doesn't have a breech face cut, which makes it easier to manually eject live rounds, but might, just maybe, has more of a chance to eject brass into one's face. The G45 is better because it has front cocking slide serrations.
